FIRST FRIDAY | DEC. 7TH, 6-9PM at HOT•BED
The Food Container Project was created by artist Steven Mogck to help bring awareness to the epidemic of hunger in the Delaware Valley. Over the next four months Steven will be selling his hand constructed food containers and custom shirts with a goal to raise $30,000 dollars for Philabundance in Philadelphia, PA.
The food containers are constructed using water-color paper and featuring hand painted images by Steven Mogck. Each container is an original piece of artwork. The Food Container Project campaign will conclude with a reception on Friday, December 7th from 6-9 pm at HOT•BED Gallery in Philadelphia. All are welcome to attend the gallery show featuring the containers and shirts. The food containers and shirts will be available for purchase and proceeds will be donated to Philabundance. In addition to the food containers created by Steven Mogck, an additional twenty artists will be invited to participate in The Food Container Project and again, proceeds from these artists’ works will benefit Philabundance. Shirts are available under The Food Container Project at www.onit.co immediately.
